Hi. Janica here. 🙂 I used to run a fashion blog but i’ve recently realized that I am not contented anymore with writing only about what i wore today and what i’ll be wearing tomorrow. Now don’t get this wrong, i still intend to post about fashion but i don’t want this blog to be just about that. 🙂 I want this new blog to focus more on life rather than clothes or brands. I’ve always had this inner craving to share my stories, my thoughts and my experiences. I want to start a blog with more meaning, and I want to reach out to people who need someone to relate to and then draw strength from.
My life is an open book they say. I never lie to myself and i never hide my weaknesses. I believe that a person’s flaws and imperfections, as well as his/het past mistakes, are not to be ashamed of. It is the on-going meanness, cruelty, unkindness, and ill-meaning thoughts that we have towards ourselves and towards other people that we ought to feel impelled to change.
I have never and will never package myself as somebody who always knows what to do, who is always in control, who is never sad or lonely, who never errs and who never has to learn any new thing. As i run this blog, please know that i am in no way trying to represent myself as an expert on life, because I am not. Hence, let me warn you that this blog is not always going to have answers for your troubled souls, but what I can promise you is that i’ll try to spread some love and happiness and hopes and inspiration to the world -not by pretending to be perfect but by exposing a big part of myself and by sharing with you guys my attempts at making this little life project of mine which i call “Self-Empowerment” a success.
I hope that as you read this blog, you get to grow WITH me. Let’s stumble and learn together, be thankful for our blessings together , be much more fearless and adventurous, and let’s celebrate our CHARMED LIVES and live em to the fullest! Yay! 🙂
